OMAS FAO COMMEMORATIVE EDITION - 1995
Founded in 1985, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is a specialized UN agency which supports international initiatives to defeat hunger and improve nutrition and food security in the world. Its Latin motto, "fiat panis", translates to "let there be bread".
In 1995 Omas dedicated a commemorative edition to the FAO using a green resin Paragon whose details were designed by the famous sculptor Gio' Pomodoro. Part of the proceeds derivating from the sales of this pen was donated to the F.A.O for their efforts and research.
This commemorative edition has a special clip decorated with a staff of wheat and a special cap band with the word FAO and the dates 1945 - 1995 engraved on it.
The packaging comprises a green cardboard box containing a white marble parallelepipedo closed with a golden lid with the word FAO.
This pen is pre-owned but in excellent condition (It looks like it has never been inked). The internal cardboard of the packaging is partially damaged.
