WATERMAN 42 SAFETY PEN - filigree overlay

This Waterman 42 is decorated with one of the most famous semiprecious overlays. The filigree decoration is typical of overlays from the 1920's and it can be found not only on Waterman pens but also on many other less famous brands.

The cap top is decorated with a charming high relief motif which can be found on many products coming from the Cavaliere workshop in MIian.

What makes this overlay particularly interesting is the presence of the clip and the ring, which is not so common.

The overlay is in excellent condition and it has no damages.

The nib has long tines and it is very flexible.
