WATERMAN 7 RIPPLE - BROWN

Waterman Ripple Nr 7 pens were introduced in 1927. The line comprised a number of pens with a colored cap band corresponding to a specific nib, identified by the same color of the band. The colors where red, purple, blue, black, yellow, green, gray and pink.
This is the chart of writing modes corresponding to each color:
Red - Standard (medium flex)
Green - Rigid
Pink - Flexible Fine
Purple - Stiff Fine
Yellow - Rounded (ball tip)
Brown - Fine
Blue - Blunt (stub)
Grey - Oblique
Black - Flexible Medium
This Waterman 7 ripple with brown cap band and Brown nib is in excellent condition with only some minimal traces of use and time and a light brassing on the clip.
The nib is supposed to be fine but it actually writes more like an M.
