MONTBLANC 744 /742 SET - FANTASTIC CONDITION - STUB

The 744 model was introduced in 1952 within a trend to rejuvenate production lines and have more modern-looking pens. The model was originally fitted with the two tone nib which had been used for the 13X series; the  nib was later on replaced by the more modern "wing" nib in 1958.

This set is in great condition, probably never used or very little.

The cap band reads "Masterpiece" instead of Meisterstuck as it was the case for export models, The small engraving (factory made) with the U.K. initials seems to indicate that the pen was meant for export to the United Kingdom.

The pen is fitted with a very pleasant stub nib.
